At first I wanted to be a songwriter. It’s been my dream since I was 8. But mom thought it was a stupid idea lol
Right now, my goal is to be a library assistant, which is a step below a librarian. I am just one class away from getting my associates degree.
I still write lyrics & I have a catalog of them. I hope someday to win a Grammy for my songwriting.

My favorite female singer is Marit Larsen. She is from Norway. She writes all her songs & plays all the instruments (except drums). Her music is pop/folk type and the lyrics are so catchy! I truly recommend giving her a try!
It has been my nickname for almost 10 years. Wow. I just realized that 10 years is a very long time. I’m 25 if you were wondering.
Anyway, I got the nickname in the 10th Grade, Geometry class. I want to say it was September. I had three friends in the class: Courtney, Maritza, and Amber. We were always joking and goofing around. We made good grades, don’t get me wrong. It was the best class of the school year.
Somehow, I became obsessed with the movie Ice Age and related so much with the character Sid the Sloth. I was carefree and klutzy. I was a bit ditzy yet I was smart and somewhat logical. I was cute yet a bit annoying.
But that name has stayed with me for all these years. It’s much shorter to say than my real name. It’s also shorter to write. Throughout the 10 years, my friends at school called me “Sid”. Then once I got to college and made new friends, I’ve told them about my nickname and they would call me “Sid” too. Once I started working at the library, my library friends would call me Sid.
I plan to have this nickname up until my death. When I’m 85 years old in a nursing home, I plan on having my nurses and nursing home buddies to call me ‘Sid’. All thanks to 3 teenagers and one adorable animated sloth.
